Times Not to be Snarky. Example #1

Tuesday:
Day #12 straight of work.
The Schedule: Inside PIR 8:15-3 followed by 2 hours in Solitary Confinement (aka the Ticket Window/Box Office).
The mood: Bitchy with a side of Exhausted.
The event:

I told a woman taking a picture (and disobeying the rules stated just a few moments prior) to take a photo of the "NO PHOTOGRAPHY ON THE LOT" sign that was directly in front of her. I was in just the right realm of bitchiness to pull it off, but as luck would have it, I said it to the one person that would call and complain.

So I got conferenced. By BOTH my bosses, A and B. But apparently I wasn't the only one complained about. Tuesday was a bad day... there must have been something in the air, because both pages and audience members alike were rude and not in the mood to deal with the idiocy of that show. People were rude about checking ID's, and apparently someone (a "male page") dropped the f bomb and someone overheard and cared enough to call and complain.

I was told that if dealing with the general public wasn't my (or any of the other pages) thing, maybe it was time for me/us to move on to something different. If only the "program" actually lived up to it's promise of networking opportunities, maybe we'd have something to move on to. But we don't, and all networking and job interviews come from outside sources. It's an entry level job with no stairs up, no doors, and the windows are barred up, teasing you with the knowledge of options and golden opportunities, but there's no way to actually get there.

So for now, I'll reinstate the "Pineapple" code (you say it if you hear me acting like a bitch, or just say "Rebecca, you're being a bitch"), smile, and forget that I've just answered the same 10 questions 600 times. Welcome to TPIR experience.
