I'm also counting this as
#12. Have a family dinner once a month, and
#24. Take my SLR on a photo shoot once a month
Also, unrelated to Taco Night but still worthy...
#65. Do 25 Random Acts of Kindness.
The other night I was at the Grove, picking up Alexis from work, and was walking by the giant fountain they have there. It being past 10 at night, it was fairly deserted, chilly (for LA, at least), and lit up. There was a couple posing in front of said fountain, a rose in her hand, a camera in his, trying to take a picture. I walked by them but immediately doubled back and asked if they wanted me to take it for them. I was received with a welcome smile and the camera was transferred to my gloved hands. I snapped the picture (adorable) and well back-lit thanks to the fountain, returned the camera, and was on my way. It took no time for me, and this couple will be able to remember this night... their first date, their engagement, their anniversary, just another night... who knows? And yea, taking a picture for people isn't a new thing, it happens all the time when you're out in touristy places... especially if you're walking around with an SLR (since it makes you look like you know what you're doing, apparently), but offering to take it isn't done quite as often.
Busy week for me on the 101 list, it seems.
