Finally. I've been talking about getting a desk since I started this blog. Every time I was going to trip to Burbank to IKEA to get it, I always found an excuse to not do it...
- I'd already spent too much money...
- I'll wait to get my paycheck...
- I'm going to get one from my Aunt's In-Laws in San Francisco...
etc.
But the San Francisco desk never panned out since the money it would take to get a truck/van from SF to LA was more than the desk (and couch) I'd be picking up. So as an additional Christmas gift, my Mom and I trekked to IKEA and I finally got my desk. Now I have no excuses for not writing.
In addition, I also picked up a monitor, a printer/scanner/fax/copier, and a stereo from my Aunt in SF, where I spent Christmas, who'd gotten them from her In-Laws (the same ones who had the couch, desk, and other furniture), and since I could fit them in my car, I took them off her hands. Yay.
Pretty. And yes, that is Veronica Mars (Season 3) playing. I've had a productive holiday... I'm already 2/3 of the way through the show. Love it.
